Payroll Specialist

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Payroll Specialist. 

Job Responsibilities

• Process/Manage payroll transactions, timekeeping, commissions
• Process/Manage/Submit/Post Bi-Weekly Payroll Taxes
• knowledge of Quaterly/Year End Payroll Tax Procedures and Contract Labor 1099's
• knowledge of Osha Regulations, Worker's Compenstation Procedures
• Processes Personnel Action Forms
• Processes Benefit Request Forms
• Maintains member receivables
• Process and pay employee benefits
• Ensures accurate coding of payroll transactions
• Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Controller
• Assit other departments as needed

Education and/or Experience

High School or General Education Degree (GED); and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
