Job Responsibilities
* The Group Parts Director is a strategic leader who is responsible for the overall success of the parts department, ensuring that it operates efficiently, profitably, and provides excellent customer service.
* Oversee inventory control, forecasting, and ordering, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
* Hires, trains, motivates, and manages the parts department team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Manages parts sales, including outside sales and customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships.
* Prepares and manages the parts department budget, tracks expenses, and analyzes performance metrics.
* Optimizes warehouse operations, shipping and receiving processes, and other logistical aspects of the parts department.
* Analyzes sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
* Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of parts.
* Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma and five years related experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Operator Driver's License (must be insurable)
